Responsibilities :

  • Accurately and efficiently assembles / tests products to achieve customer quality and on‐time delivery schedules.
  • May perform lockwiring, first stage subassembly, and final detailing functions on routine assignments requiring limited judgment.
  • Actively contributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Receives direct supervisory guidance.

    • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

    1. Performs basic assembly / test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools,

    mechanical / electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a

    manufacturing environment.

    2. Records test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.

    3. Interprets blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer

    requirements, and quality directives.

    4. Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specifications. Assembles / tests to customer and / or

    industry standards.

    5. Performs touch‐up or full surface painting of parts with finishing materials such as paint, lacquer, glaze,

    etc. Mixes paint and cleans parts.

    6. Actively participates in lean initiatives by identifying and providing suggestions on areas for

    improvement.

    7. Observes all safety rules and maintains a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.

    8. Ensures all equipment is calibrated in accordance with calibration schedule.

    9. May perform other related responsibilities.

    Education and Experience :

  • High school diploma / GED
  • 2+ years related experience

    • Job Requirements :

  • 0‐1 year general mechanical work experience.
  • Demonstrate product and process knowledge by applying it to newly learned techniques.
  • Able to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • Able to read and understand blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications. Perform basic mathematical calculations, as well as demonstrate effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills.
  • Possess strong mechanical reasoning.
  • Able to implement and effectively apply lean initiatives.
  • Possess effective interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Able to use employee self‐service to access on‐line information and use specialized automated systems (i.e.PMR, TORS, e‐mail).

    • FUNCIONES ESENCIALES :

    1. Realiza funciones básicas de ensamblaje / prueba utilizando habilidades mecánicas, herramientas manuales y eléctricas, herramientas mecánicas / electrónicas, equipos de prueba, accesorios de ensamblaje y equipos de medición de inspección en un entorno de fabricación.

    2. Registra los resultados de las pruebas en formularios de datos utilizando equipos eléctricos básicos y medidores de flujo.

    3. Interpreta planos, órdenes de ingeniería, rutas de ensamblaje, especificaciones de prueba, boletines de servicio, requisitos del cliente y directivas de calidad.

    4. Produce e inspecciona ensamblajes que cumplen con las especificaciones del producto. Ensambla / prueba según los estándares del cliente o de la industria. 5. Realiza retoques o pintado de superficies completas de piezas con materiales de acabado como pintura, laca, esmalte, etc. Mezcla pintura y limpia piezas.

    6. Participa activamente en iniciativas de manufactura esbelta, identificando y aportando sugerencias sobre áreas de mejora.

    7. Cumple todas las normas de seguridad y mantiene un área de trabajo libre de daños por objetos extraños (FOD).

    8. Se asegura de que todo el equipo esté calibrado según el programa de calibración.

    9. Puede desempeñar otras responsabilidades relacionadas.

    Educación y experiencia :

  • Diploma de bachillerato / GED
  • Más de 2 años de experiencia relacionada
