Position Summary :
The Family Wellness Program (FWP) provides comprehensive trauma-informed services to families who are affected by IPV, including survivors of IPV, the person who is causing harm (PCH), and children exposed to IPV in the home. The Program Supervisor will coordinate and oversee the day-day aspects of the Abuse Intervention Services for Fathers (AISF) component of the FWP. The AISF will provide comprehensive abuse intervention services to the PCH, including case management, individual abuse intervention counseling, and the Caring Dads group. The goal of AISF services is to stop relationship abuse, thereby, increasing safety and well-being of children and families. The Program Supervisor will report to the program's Assistant Director and provide services in Manhattan and in the South Bronx.
Essential Duties :
- Understand and promote the organization's Mission, Vision, and Core Values to ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
- Supervise the AISF Therapist and AISF Therapeutic Case Manager.
- Coordinate the planning and facilitation of the Caring Dads group, a 24-week intervention designed for fathers who have caused harm to their partner and / or their children.
- Co-facilitate Caring Dads group cycles with the AISF Therapist or Therapeutic Case Manager.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and trauma screens.
- Provide trauma-informed, anti-oppressive individual counseling to a small caseload of individual clients.
- Provide case management, crisis intervention, advocacy, and referral resources as needed.
- Ensure documentation, data entry, and contract reporting are completed in a timely manner.
- Manage data collection for agency and contractual reporting.
- Support the FWP Assistant Director in quarterly reports for funder.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings, supervisory meetings, and trainings.
- Provide training, consultation, and capacity building to community providers and other Children's Aid programs.
- Conduct outreach and build community partnerships.
- Liaise with referral sources and partner organizations.
- Attend staff and agency meetings, supervision, and trainings as scheduled.
- Complete performance evaluations and address performance issues in a timely manner.
- Comply with all privacy laws including HIPAA.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
