Financial Program Analyst, Junior

The Opportunity :

The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That's why we need you, a financial analyst who can learn to navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding to make sure our Navy's resources can make the most impact.

As a financial analyst on our team, you'll study the creation of a financial management strategy to help the US Navy succeed. You'll help in various departments to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.

You'll assist a team using laws, regulations, and policies to help the client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you'll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication within various weapons programs. This is your chance to establish skills and experience with a Department of Defense customer while taking the opportunity to gain financial analysis experience.

You Have :

Experience with all tools in Microsoft Office

Knowledge of US Navy processes

Ability to communicate effectively and work independently

Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have :

Experience with Department of Defense financial processes

Knowledge of NAVSEA organization

Ability to conduct data analysis and utilize Navy ERP and Power BI to collect and visualize data to inform leadership for decision making

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree in a financial field

Clearance :

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $43,700.00 to $89,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
