Job Description
Position Overview :
Responsible for all rights management, near-term and long-term programming, strategic scheduling, formatting, reporting and contingency planning for all sports across linear and digital platforms.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for scheduling, planning, and reporting, including communicating schedule information to both internal and external partners.
- Responsible for negotiating and managing rights to sports events and programming.
- Identifies and fosters strong strategic partnerships across the Versant sports portfolio of sports leagues, teams, and other organizations.
- Oversee all matters related to live Sports and Golf Channel contingencies, including leveraging relationships across VERSANT and with league partners
- Collaborate with sales and production to create and execute program formats.
- Identifies and implements changes to programming content, schedule and look based on research data.
- Oversee sports VOD programming and content and the GolfPass Virtual Channel.
- Manage all aspects of international programming related to sports to help generate distribution deals and manage international partner relationships.
- Lead & manage a programming team.
