HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Temporary (Part-Time) Acquisition Specialist / Project Manager to support the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, Air Delivered Capabilities Directorate at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. This critical role contributes to strategic acquisition and project management support for the Weapon Storage and Security System (WS3).

This position is Temporary , with the potential to transition into a full-time role after 90 days based on mission requirements and individual performance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in defense acquisition processes and project coordination, along with the adaptability to operate effectively in a reduced-hour capacity while demonstrating readiness for broader responsibilities.

Project Management & Acquisition Support :

• Possess and apply expert knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and analytical methods to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required to support our Government Project Officers
• Apply interaction, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning expertise to technical and acquisition efforts across a broad spectrum of functional disciplines
• Provide day-to-day on-site Project Management support services including writing and reviewing program documents, tracking contracting actions, creating and reviewing travel authorizations and vouchers
• Conclude and devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of acquisition effectiveness and compliance, develop and draft acquisition documentation, and ensure quality control
