Seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a top ranked, family owned Bay Area Contractor. This role is pivotal in managing the planning, implementation, and execution of K12 / K14 DSA construction projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. You will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, and ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, particularly in the education construction sector including K12 and K14 construction.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation.

2. Allocate resources for assigned projects.

3. Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.

4. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.

5. Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.

6. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.

7. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.

8. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.

9. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.

10. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
