REMOTE WORK FROM HOME POSSIBLE Seeking applications engineer with experience working on automated laser cutting systems . Support system analysis and review, design, fabrication, installation, and programming for both retrofits and new installations. Projects require incumbent to be the face of the company during pre-planning, worksite inspections, and commissioning; shall require travel. OBJECTIVES :

• Visit customer plants to inspect, analyze, and document current equipment, capacities, infrastructure, facility layout, power distribution systems, etc.
• Act as the extension of the home office engineering team at customer site.
• Present analysis, recommendations, and alternatives based on information gathered at worksite.
• Specify, design, model, lay out, and place system components including laser cutters, laser engravers, laser welders, plasma cutters, and fiber laser welders using advanced CAD software packages.
• Oversee and support installation, set up, testing, and customer training of systems. QUALIFICATIONS :
• Associates technical degree.
• Must have practical hands-on experience working with modern fabrication processes for both plastic and metal materials.
• Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and improving Graphical User Interface (GUI) CNC Programming for laser and plasma machine tools.
