Basic level working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) in order to create, maintain and update information. Knowledge of or ability to learn how to enter and maintain data and booking information in company reservation system, SeaWeb, as well as Salesforce. Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly communicate with guests, articulate cruise products and promotions, and collaborate with team members from various departments. Problem solving, research and resolution skills to perform general functions of the job such as assisting guests, team members, and reservations system. Negotiation skills and ability to think through solutions is required to balance the interests of guests and guest satisfaction while ensuring revenue and adherence to NCL program guidelines. Customer service skills to create a friendly, enthusiastic, and efficient guest experience. Interpersonal skills to work effectively and efficiently in a team-based environment. Ability to handle high-volume customer service in a call center environment and shift priorities as needed per business demands.
Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for servicing and selling Norwegian cruise products to Casino guests that initiate contact directly with Norwegian Cruise Line. Research required information using available resources and process casino program reservations, upsell, changes and cancellations. Deliver an overall superior customer service experience to all guests.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Receive inbound calls from existing and potential cruise guests. Assist with any product related questions and identify guests travel needs based on provided information.
- Express and describe Norwegian cruises utilizing knowledge of product features, benefits, and casino certificate program as needed.
- Make recommendations to guests regarding promotions, itineraries, and auxiliary products such as stateroom upgrades, travel protection, special requests, and other shipboard amenities.
- Identify sales opportunities when servicing certificate calls from new cruisers and attempt to close sale on the first call.
- Process casino reservation orders requested directly by guests including new reservations, upsell, changes, cancellations, and taking payments.
- Establish quality customer relationships by delivering exceptional customer service. Research and resolve general and specific reservation inquiries, including general related inquiries from past guests.
- Maintain current knowledge of in-depth industry and Norwegian Cruise Line company trends and promotions.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and / or relevant sales training to ensure use of appropriate sales techniques and use of accurate information communicated to potential guests.
- Execute reservation quality checks, error correction, and error reporting.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
