About the Role Do you thrive in a vibrant atmosphere? Enjoy fast-paced environments and providing exceptional service? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and energetic AM / Lunch Restaurant Food Runner to join our restaurant team at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center. As a key member of our service staff, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our lunch guests enjoy a seamless and memorable dining experience. Responsibilities Deliver food orders to guests promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and proper presentation. Support servers by anticipating guest needs, such as refilling water and bread service. Clear and reset tables with proper linens, china, silverware, and glassware. Assist servers with tasks like delivering additional items, removing side plates, and maintaining flow of service. Complete opening and closing side work, including cleaning and restocking supplies for lunch service. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times. Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth and efficient service. Become knowledgeable about hotel amenities and assist guests with questions about the restaurant and surrounding area. Qualifications Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced lunch service environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Team player with a positive, proactive attitude. Willingness to learn and adapt. Must be at least 18 years of age.
