Job Description
Mainframe Business Analyst / SME IT L3
Location - Torrance, CA (Hybrid of 4 days / week onsite along with 1 day / week remote)
Contract Duration – September 2025 – March 31 2026 with strong possibility of an extension
Travel – 10% - ad hoc on an “as needed” basis – domestic throughout the U.S. (travel expenses will be reimbursable)
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to serve as a Mainframe Systems SME and assist the Project Manager and / or Team Manager on various Parts Applications projects for one of our automotive clients. These projects will include the Texas Crossdock project. Assigned units of work vary from 100-hour enhancements, up to team members on a large project. Responsibilities will include the following :
- Analyze business requirements and create as well as manage the completion of units of work completed by themself and other team members.
- Gather requirements, functional and detailed analysis / design, testing (unit, integration, system, user acceptance), implementation, documentation, warranty.
- Define architectural solutions to meet application requirements.
- Provide status to Project Manager / Lead, as needed.
