Sanitation Technician - CIP
Our Client is a contract packer or co-packer, co-packs ready to drink beverage products in aluminum cans ranging from juices, energy drinks, teas and carbonated soda drinks in a wide variety of aluminum can sizes.
Summary :
The CIP Sanitation Technician is responsible to ensure the equipment, conveyors and facility are cleaned and verify that all cleaning practices are being followed. This position will clean and / or sanitize all equipment including food contact surfaces following strict standard operating procedures, strict good manufacturing procedures and strict food safety laws and accurately document the procedures. Will perform cleaning and sanitation duties for multiple departments under time sensitive conditions.
Duties :
Cleans the beverage processing equipment and manufacturing equipment, COP (clean out of place) and CIP (clean in place).
Removes machine guards and accessories.
Cleans floors and conveyors around machines.
Uses floor scrubber / sweeper in warehouse areas
Pasteurizer cleaning
Pressure washing
Grease removal under fillers
Qualifications : HS Diploma or GED
6 months to 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing setting; experience in food or beverage manufacturing is highly preferred
Shift : Multiple shifts available - call for up to date info
Pay : Starting at $18 / hr. More for well qualified candidates
