CNC Machinist / Programmer

You will be the CNC Machinist / Programmer for the Engineering & Prototype Laboratory (EPL) facility at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (LMMFC). Our team provides Engineering & Fabrication support for the Research & Development (R&D) teams, and we're looking for a skilled and ambitious CNC Machinist to join our team. What you will be doing As the CNC Machinist / Programmer, you will be responsible for working in a "Build to Print" Machining environment, utilizing Drawings and 3D Models to develop the Fabrication process and generate NC Code using a CAD / CAM system. You will machine complex experimental, developmental, and prototype hardware and assemblies, and will be responsible for planning, tooling, work holding, fabricating fixtures, NC programming, and measuring machined hardware. Your responsibilities will include : Working independently and collaboratively with other Machinists and the EPL Staff Engineering team Utilizing Drawings and 3D Models to develop the Fabrication process and generate NC Code Machining complex hardware and assemblies on Multi Axis Mills, Lathes, and MillTurns Planning, tooling, work holding, fabricating fixtures, NC programming, and measuring machined hardware Ensuring parts and assemblies conform to all Engineering requirements Why join us We're looking for a talented and motivated CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our team.
