Position Summary :
Provide administrative support to admissions.
Job Duties :
- Performs intake and admission for incoming and transitioning clients
- Assists with submitting authorizations for clients in all levels of care through managed care systems.
- Verifies and secures client funding source for all clients as they enter treatment and / or transfer levels of care.
- Responsible for data entry into various electronic databases.
- Places Calls and sends letters to referral agencies to obtain clinical information for St. Monica’s.
- Returns calls and follows-up with agencies on information needs for admission purposes.
- Maintains up to date information on all clients on all waitlists.
- Facilitates new client admissions for all level of care and in all programs. As much as possible, ensures clients are made to feel welcome and comfortable.
- Complete the Intake and Referral process by taking telephone calls from clients requesting information about services and by setting appointments for intake and admissions.
- Checks NIMS Medicaid on a weekly basis as well as other databases to ensure client eligibility status. Responsible for ensuring all clients have up to date financial records and insurance information in all databases.
