Software Developer - C# and SQL

OSAM is hiring a Software Developer to join our Core Technology team. The ideal candidate will have solid computer science fundamentals, a demonstrated passion for solving problems with technology, and possess strong programming experience. This position is a hands-on role responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining firmwide trading-data, performance, risk, research, and investment applications, APIs, and visualization tools. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to interface directly with a wide range of OSAM's investment teams.

This is a HYBRID position (three days in office) in our NYC or Stamford, CT office. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship / transfer for this position.

Ongoing Responsibilities of a Software Developer - C# and SQL

• Work directly with trading, engineering, and R&D departments to solve a wide variety of evolving data and emerging business requirements
• Design, develop, and support significant components managing client portfolios
• Develop applications in C# / SQL in a stable and scalable manner
• Build robust data pipelines from many sources of varied levels of data quality, supporting business demands, ad-hoc client analytic requests, and the core production applications
• Ensure all code, new and old, meets standards for coding, architecture, and operation

The salary for this position is expected to range between $120,000 and $160,000.
