We are looking for a Server Developer to build our game backends. You’ll integrate with the game team to create a great, server-heavy game in the Battle Studio.

Rovio’s Battle Studio is all about creating world-class competitive experiences for touchscreen devices that keep players rapt with the rush of winning – and the agony of defeat. Battle Studio made a splash with their award-winning 5-on-5 shooter, Battle Bay, and they are driven by the opportunity to build Rovio’s next mega-hit that will not only top the games chart, but also become a world-renowned entertainment IP. The studio is working on a few unannounced, competitive games.

Your responsibilities as a server developer are to :

• Design, implement and test backend functionality for our games
• Create, maintain and operate the game server cloud infrastructures
• Ensure our servers are efficient, secure and scale well
• Integrate other cloud services to the game servers
• Work as a team with other developers, designers and artists
