Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple project tasks. Excellent presentation, written communication, time management, and organizational skills are required. Ability to work under pressure, be self-directed, exhibit good business judgment, and handle confidential information appropriately. We're looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Architectural Engineering team at our Wichita location (in office). This individual will assist with the design of a variety of projects that may include schools, churches, hospitals, hotels, office buildings, and other commercial and industrial projects.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with the design and production of detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, written reports, and site observation reports.
- Complete structural calculations with different design materials, specifically with steel and concrete.
- Assist in the selection of the appropriate building materials.
- Prepare and assist with project proposals, interviews, and client presentations.
- Attend client meetings to ensure the design meets their needs and objectives.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to production staff.
