Job Title : Systems Administrator
Department : IT
Reports to : AVP, Information Technology
Position Purpose :
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations.
Key Areas of Responsibility :
- Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Document and track issues using a ticketing system
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT best practices and tools
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours to support on location auctions
- Be flexible to perform the needed tasks to get the job done
- Able to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision, but also a team player
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization including Executive Management

Culture
Barrett-Jackson's culture is live and in-person. Team members are in the office 5 days per week, 8am to 5pm at the Scottsdale, AZ headquarters. During live events the company largely travels together to produce and ensure each event is a success. This requires weekend work and long hours.
