Our client is an accounting firm. They seek a Tax Manager to join their Trust & Estate group in their Boston, MA office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide fiduciary, personal income, gift, and estate tax compliance
  • Review individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returns
  • Assess estate and trust fiduciary accountings
  • Handle Federal and State tax notices and audits
  • Research and understand Federal, State, and International tax laws
  • Manage all aspects of client accounts and foster client relationships
  • Review and analyze estate planning related legal documents
  • Complete networking, public speaking, and authoring Trust and Estate articles
  • Supervise group members including monitoring their workload

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, MST preferred
  • 10+ years of tax experience
  • Trust, estate and gift experience required
  • Experience in Tax Advisory and Estate / Trust planning
  • Estate and inheritance tax experience
  • Strong accounting and analytical experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPA required
  • Skilled in Excel
