Untitled TECHNICAL ASSISTANT TO THE CONSTRUCTION OFFICIAL- The Township of West Caldwell is currently seeking a full time Technical Assistant to the Construction Official. Applicant will report to the Construction Official, provides technical assistance in the issuance of construction permits to ensure compliance with the provisions of the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code. DCA Certified Technical Assistant preferred; knowledge of the provisions of the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code as they relate to the activities of the office, required. Successful candidate must be computer literate, experienced in Microsoft Office and possess excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills for heavy public interaction. Knowledge of Spatial Data Logic is preferred.
