Respond to inbound sales inquiries : Handle sales calls from existing customers regarding product details, pricing, order status, or delivery confirmation. Proactively engage customers : Reach out to existing customers via phone calls, emails, and other communication channels to generate new sales opportunities. Process orders and quotes : Enter orders and quotes for both stock items and custom-manufactured components and systems. Collaborate with Outside Sales : Work with Outside Sales representatives on open opportunities within their sales territories to drive customer growth. Analyze sales data : Review sales figures and market trends to identify potential areas for growth and improvement. Mechanical aptitude or technical inclination : Strong mechanical aptitude or technical inclination and the ability to understand and work with complex technical or mechanical specifications are essential for success in this position. Experience in sales or customer service : 1-3 years of experience in a sales or customer service role, ideally within a manufacturing or technical environment. Computer proficiency : Strong computer skills are required to manage daily tasks efficiently. Experience with Microsoft AX : Familiarity with Microsoft AX is a plus. Adapt to new processes and environments : Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting to new processes, technologies, and work environments. Communicate effectively with customers : Understand customer needs and provide high-quality service through clear and effective communication. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills : Support customer inquiries and needs with excellent communication abilities. Manage the sales process efficiently : Ensure accuracy and attention to detail from order entry to fulfillment, maintaining customer satisfaction. Handle multiple orders and quotes simultaneously : Maintain efficiency and organization while managing multiple orders and quotes.
