Position Overview :
The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial automation, SCADA systems, data acquisition platforms, and secure industrial networking. As an OT Engineer, you will help design, deploy, and maintain the facility's digital backbone for collecting and distributing real-time and historical data from all automated systems. You will also collaborate closely with IT, controls, and production teams to enable seamless, secure integration across platforms.
Position Responsibilities :
- Design, configure, and maintain SCADA / HMI systems, including FactoryTalk View SE / ME, Siemens WinCC, or similar platforms.
- Support the configuration and ongoing deployment of AVEVA PI (OSIsoft PI) for data collection, asset historian, alarming, and reporting.
- Implement and maintain Rockwell AssetCentre or similar systems for version control, device management, and audit tracking.
- Integrate field devices, PLCs, HMIs, and sensors into the OT network, ensuring standardized communication and robust data flow.
- Develop and maintain secure, segmented industrial network architectures, including VLANs, Layer 2 / 3 switches, firewalls, and routing strategies.
- Support real-time and historical data aggregation from multiple sources-PLCs, SCADA, sensors, databases-into centralized historian platforms.
- Configure and support industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet / IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP, OPC UA / DA, and MQTT.
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to establish OT / IT boundary controls, security protocols, and compliance standards.
- Participate in system commissioning, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Site Acceptance Tests (SATs), installation, and startup activities.
- Provide troubleshooting support for SCADA systems, data historians, and network infrastructure during operational events.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation : network diagrams, data flow schematics, control narratives, and system configuration files.
