Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as outlined by Allied Universal for a technology-oriented location. Monitor access to the building, verify identification, and help to deter unauthorized entry. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alerting appropriate personnel when necessary. Provide customer service by answering questions and offering directions to visitors. Manage visitor logs and issue badges or passes as required by site protocols. Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. As a Security Professional - Telecom Front Desk in Santa Clara, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.
As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal at a dynamic technology-focused location, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and personnel. Your primary responsibilities include managing access control, assisting guests and employees, and providing exceptional customer service to help foster a welcoming environment. You will support security-related operations using computer and / or tablet systems, contributing to the overall sense of order and professionalism.
