Purpose
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the Automation Team to design and develop custom factory equipment across Additive Manufacturing and Automation applications, propelling our team into the next generation of the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS).
The Role
- Ownership of industrial electrical systems engineering, from conceptual system architecture through final schematics, drawings and build of complete electrical systems.
- Actively collaborate with mechanical, controls, software, manufacturing, and process engineers to co-develop novel manufacturing equipment, including metal 3d printing systems, powder handling systems, manufacturing systems, and automatic robotic assembly, material removal & coating lines.
- Drive electrical engineering standards and best practices across the full suite of DAPS platform manufacturing modules.
- Drive insourcing vs. outsourcing decisions for your designs, partnering with key vendors and internal development operations teams, respectively.

At Divergent, our pay range is based on the level of the job. For this role, we will consider candidates at levels E04 - E05 as evaluated through our interview process.
Pay Range
$106,000-$168,300 USD
