Advanced Energy is looking for an experienced Test Development Engineer to join our team in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Test Engineer designs, develops, and implements cost-effective solutions for manufacturing tests for several high frequency, high voltage circuits and systems that ensure high quality standards. The position performs a variety of technical, multi-disciplined tasks early in the Product Development Process to provide timely, flexible, universal tools and processes. The Test Engineer makes knowledgeable, data-driven decisions and employs innovative technologies with optimal control and maximum speed and flexibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ensures testability and serviceability of new product designs, providing feedback to design teams addressing opportunities for defects in manufacturing and field use
- Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, completes specifications and procedures for new products and for product design changes throughout the product’s lifecycle
- Accurately estimates project costs and schedules associated with implementing test solutions
- Owns test requirements from the vendor, to shipment, to the customer
- Verifies products meet their functional requirements - including design verification and manufacturing screens
- Analyzes capabilities and ensure control of critical parameters of products and test equipment

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $90,000 to $140,000 per year.
