Job Opportunity : Heavy Truck Driver

Amentum is seeking a Heavy Truck Driver for North of Las Vegas, NV to drive various types of trucks, such as tractor trailer combinations to transport various loads, which may include hazardous materials. Compensation : HIRING HOURLY Rate of Pay : $35.76 per hour; Hourly rate set by CBA. Essential Responsibilities :

• Must have the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment and forklifts and to load and unload cargo.
• Check vehicles and equipment for correct operation and must be knowledgeable of cargo securement rules to ensure that every load is properly secured before transport.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers and refuel vehicles as required. Perform general housekeeping and grounds maintenance of vehicle parking areas.
• Travel as required by company.
• Other related duties as assigned by the Lead Technician.
• Focus on SAFETY.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
