Position Overview :

V&E Hospitality Group is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Utility Porters. The Utility Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities, ensuring that our guests have a safe and enjoyable experience. Key Responsibilities :

• Cleaning and Sanitization :  Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting common areas, restrooms, and dining spaces.
• Trash Removal :  Empty trash bins and recycling containers, replace liners, and dispose of waste in a hygienic and environmentally responsible manner.
• Restroom Maintenance :  Monitor and clean restrooms regularly, replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
• Floor Care :  Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors by mopping, waxing, and buffing as necessary.
• Light Maintenance :  Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department and assist in minor repairs or adjustments as directed.
• Event Setup :  Assist in setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, and equipment for events, meetings, or special occasions.
• Stocking Supplies :  Ensure that cleaning supplies, restroom supplies, and other essentials are well-stocked and readily available.
• Teamwork :  Collaborate with the cleaning and maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Back of House :  If applying for the back of house utility porter position, the following responsibilities may be required :
• Dishwashing :  Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Kitchen Cleaning :  Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area by regularly emptying trash, cleaning food preparation areas, and ensuring equipment is clean and in good working order.
• Utensil and Equipment Sorting :  Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in an organized manner for easy access by kitchen staff.
• Assist Kitchen Team :  Provide support to kitchen staff as needed, including helping with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks during busy periods.
• Safety and Sanitation :  Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents.
