As technical editor on our team, you'll be responsible for reviewing and revising intelligence or communication products and other documents prepared by DoD analysts for publication. The technical editor works with primary authors to edit and rewrite products for organization, grammar, style, accuracy, and consistency of technical data. You will provide expert technical knowledge of the DIA Style Guide to ensure products conform to agency publication standards, and proper classification marks are applied in accordance with IC guidance. The ability to operate on short timelines, flexibility, and excellent oral and written communications skills are a must. You Have :

• 3+ years of experience as an editor or technical editor
• Ability to proofread, edit, and correct text for style and accuracy
• Ability to apply IC analytic standards and analytic tradecraft standards as defined in the Intelligence Reform and Terror ism Prevention Act, Intelligence Community Directives ( ICD) 203 Analytic Standards, and ICD 206 Sourcing Requirements to the production of all-source intelligence products
• Active TS / SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience working in a professional environment or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience working in a professional environment

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
