Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair and operation products, is searching for a 1st Shift Packer in our Packing Department for our Arlington TX, location. We are looking for a hardworking, motivated, and customer focused individual.

Our Packer will be responsible for verifying and packing items received, performing inventory counts, and various other duties assigned by the manager.

Qualifications :

• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
• This position requires the ability to respond quickly to problems.
• This position requires the ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisors and managers.
• This position requires the ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to follow and understand written and oral instructions.
• This position requires some computer literacy.
• This position requires the ability to lift objects weighing sixty (60) pounds floor to waist, waist to shoulder and shoulder to overhead.
• This position requires the ability to frequently walk and stand on concrete floors.
• This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time working on a computer.
• This position requires the ability to do occasional neck flexions, extensions and twisting while sitting, standing or squatting.
• This position requires the ability to frequently bend and twist the back.
• This position requires the ability to finely manipulate and grip objects.
• This position requires the ability to climb, squat and reach overhead to gain access to higher and lower shelves.

Additional Information :

The pay rate is $18.00 per hour, plus the opportunity to earn $200 a month in bonuses.

The hours are 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm, Monday- Friday
