Are you a highly motivated Litigation Associate with a minimum of two years of experience, ready to specialize in a dynamic and growing practice area? Our client, a distinguished Am Law 200 firm, is actively seeking talented associates to join its thriving Litigation Business Unit in Southern California. This is an outstanding opportunity to become an integral part of a well-established team, representing leading automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers.
About the Opportunity :
This role offers an exciting path to develop deep expertise in warranty-related litigation. You will work exclusively on a collaborative team, gaining invaluable courtroom experience, honing your skills in motion practice, depositions, and mediations. While prior warranty experience is not a prerequisite, your strong advocacy, legal research, writing, and negotiation skills will be essential to your success. Key Responsibilities :
Representing automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty-related matters.
Engaging in trial and arbitration preparation.
Gaining and applying courtroom experience.
Conducting and responding to motion practice.
Participating in depositions (taking and defending).
Involvement in mediations.
Performing robust legal research.
Drafting high-quality legal documents.
Utilizing strong negotiation skills.
What We're Looking For :
We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates :
Experience Level : Experienced Litigation Associate with a minimum of two years of experience.
Bar Membership : Must be a member of the California Bar.
Litigation Acumen : Proven experience in trial and arbitration preparation and courtroom experience, including motion practice, depositions, and mediations.
Core Legal Skills : Strong advocacy, legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
Academic Excellence : Excellent academic credentials.
Organizational Prowess : Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Work Ethic : A solid work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Interpersonal Abilities : Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Location : Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco, CA & Remote in CA (hybrid 2-3 days onsite or remote options available).
Salary :
$150,000 to $165,000 plus bonus.
