Description
We're looking for a Water Resources Engineer to join the HMB team !

Key Responsibilities
- Design systems to safely, efficiently, and effectively transport drinking water and / or wastewater to and from end users, including pumping and storage projects
- Assist senior design staff in design of water and / or wastewater treatment plant projects
- Review and analyze drainage systems for storm water or floodplains to ensure safety of the ecosystem and public; designs necessary conveyance systems to safeguard the area.
- Assess the need for drinking water and / or wastewater treatment systems based on current and projected future population and / or development demands; conducts feasibility studies for the construction of public utility infrastructure to meet identified needs
- Analyze, or assist with analysis of, various water and / or wastewater treatment technologies, and recommend the most effective method
- Design and develop specifications for various pumping and force main systems
- Collaborate with contractors and government agencies regarding construction of assigned projects
- Ensure design and equipment specifications comply with applicable local, state, and federal guidelines and codes
- Conduct feasibility and related studies regarding the collection, treatment, or distribution of water or wastewater, and prepare written technical reports
- Provide clients with technical support and subject matter expertise on water resources related issues
- Conduct appropriate cost-benefit analyses for assigned projects.
- Align with marketing team on RFPs, presentations and scoping projects
