The Opportunity

The Busser / Service Assistant is responsible for assisting servers with water / refilling, bussing, and running food throughout the shift. This role is responsible for making sure dishes are cleared and the tables are wiped down in a timely manner. Cleanliness and positivity in guest interactions as well as staff interactions is a must.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist servers in providing excellent service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Set up and service of water, bread, and coffee.
• The ability to learn and follow steps of service. Practice effective table maintenance.
• Cleaning, clearing, and resetting tables to ensure they are ready for the next guest.
• Keep the restaurant clean, stocked, organized, and visually appealing.  Maintaining health and safety regulations in all work areas and the dining room.
• Greeting every guest, you interact with in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Offering assistance and accommodating guest requests whenever possible.
• Offering a warm farewell and thank you to every guest as they leave the restaurant.
• Immediately notifying management of any guest complaints, including any interactions with a guest that lead you to believe that the guest is not 100% happy with their visit.
