The Kelly Group is seeking an Industrial Metal Fabricator for its Marion, Arkansas , facility. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in the layout and fabrication of sheet metal and structural steel.
This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties :
- Safely and accurately lay out and fabricate straight lengths of ductwork, cones, elbows, tapers and miscellaneous parts utilizing a bending roll
- Safely and accurately lay out and fabricate square and rectangular spouting, square to rounds, tapers, offset fittings and various parts utilizing a press brake
- Safely and accurately measure and cut various sheet metals utilizing a sheet metal shear
- Safe operation of an ironworker machine to punch, shear and cut
- Safe operation of a drill press, punch press, hand grinder and other tools of the trade
- Reading and understanding of blueprints / drawings, and developing a cut list and / or material list accordingly
