The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Whitehall seeking Welders who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG TIG Stick) on different materials (steel aluminum stainless steel).
  • Interpret blueprints welding symbols and other technical specifications to determine the appropriate welding process.
  • Inspect finished welds for quality defects and adherence to specifications using measuring instruments.
  • Prepare materials for welding including cutting grinding cleaning and fitting components.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all welding activities comply with safety regulations quality standards and production schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with welding equipment or processes.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in manufacturing welding environments.
  • Proficiency in MIG TIG and / or Stick welding processes on various materials (e.g. steel stainless steel aluminum).
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols.
  • Current AWS certification (e.g. D1.1 D1.2) or equivalent demonstrable welding qualifications.
  • Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in a production setting.

  • TIG welding experience
  • Ability to read complex blueprints and schematics
  • Experience with fabrication tools and techniques (cutting grinding fitting)
  • Forklift or overhead crane certification
