Job Description :
Quality Inspector will perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, and recommend improvements to the production process. As the quality inspector, you will uphold the safety regulations of our company to guarantee that all our products meet quality expectations. To excel in this role, QC Inspector must demonstrate great attention to detail with excellent technical and math abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Inspect in-process and completed products to production drawings on the shop floor and in the field (at Managers discretion).
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints with in depth GD&T callouts.
- Must be able to calibrate and use mechanical precision inspection devices.
- Provide recommendations in the resolution of quality issues.
- Provides support to other team members.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Complete paperwork for quality documentation procedures.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Adhere to 5S practices maintaining a safe, clean and organized work environment.
- Active involvement and support of Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Implement, maintain and continually improve the effectiveness of the company’s quality management system.
- Perform Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
