Conduct regular inspections of production processes and products to identify and resolve any quality issues promptly. Collaborate with the quality control team to implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency. Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, performance metrics, and any relevant documentation. Generate reports on production output, efficiency, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and present production-related reports to management as required. Identify opportunities to optimize production processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and lean manufacturing principles. Participate in regular production meetings to discuss challenges, propose solutions, and drive process improvements. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. In-depth knowledge of the metal fabrication process, including cutting, welding, bending, and Familiarity with different types of metals and their characteristics for fabrication purposes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications related to metal fabrication. Knowledge of equipment and machinery commonly used in metal fabrication, such as shears, press brakes, laser cutters, and welding machines. Understanding of quality standards and specifications specific to metal fabrication, including dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements.
