The BI Architect will optimize large data sets to satisfy the reporting requirements of the business. They will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design a centralized reporting platform to support internal and external clients.

Essential Functions

• Design and develop a centralized reporting solution that supports and fulfills the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
• Leverage data science tools and techniques in analyzing data sets that will enable the development of custom models and algorithms to uncover insights, trends, and patterns in our data to help identify the appropriate course of action.
• Create technical documentation on new reporting platform design and ETL processes that support critical reports.
• Lead and help establish consistent reporting processes and the maintenance of our technical architecture.
• Participate in the prioritization of enhancements and reporting requests to meet the business goals and effective technology usage.
• Provide mentoring and training to the reporting team.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon the office or meeting location.

Physical Demands and Activities

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to remain stationary. The employee is frequently required to move about the office, operate a computer and other office machinery, such as calculator, copy machine, and computer printer; rarely position self to maintain files; rarely moves boxes weighing up to 10 lbs. Close and distance observation required with ability to observe objects at close range in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen).
