Job Description
We are seeking a commercially astute Vice President or Director (depending on experience) with Health and / or Life Sciences experience to lead our USA Life Sciences team. We are seeking an ambitious Director level person in a client-facing role with a proven track record in Life Sciences / Health construction projects and programmes of work in both the public and private sector. As USA Lead for Life Sciences, you will be responsible for developing and delivering on a business plan that includes sustained growth across all regions and territories in the USA. This role can sit in any key office of ours, including in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, New York or Boston.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex commissions and support major new build schemes across Health and Life Sciences.
- Oversee team operations, including resource planning, contract management, and compliance across multiple projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Plan and secure resources for the project or programme, using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Lead and manage the project or programme team and delegate tasks, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
- Identify and manage risks and issues, using effective mitigation and contingency strategies.
- Ensure the project or programme stays on track and delivers on time and within budget, using relevant project management methodologies and standards.
- Build, sustain and facilitate relationships with project or programme stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
- Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of the project or programme, using appropriate metrics and indicators.
- Evaluate the impact and benefits of the project or programme, using evidence-based methods and tools.
Drive business development, identifying new opportunities and preparing compelling proposals to grow our presence in Health, Education, and Life Sciences.

Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $175K-$200K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
