Position Details
Position Title : Building Administrator
Building : Ypsilanti International Elementary School
Salary : Commensurate with education and experience

Qualifications :
- Michigan Teacher Certification.

- A minimum of five years of teaching experience at the elementary level is preferred.

Position Summary :
The building administrator of Ypsilanti International Elementary School (YIES) serves as the instructional and operational leader of the school, with a focused responsibility for implementing and maintaining the International Baccalaureate in a K-5 environment. The administrator fosters a culture of inquiry, international-mindedness, and whole-child development that is aligned with IB philosophy. This role requires a visionary and collaborative leader who is committed to equity, academic excellence, and building a safe, inclusive school community.
