ASN Constructors is a joint venture of three international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui and North American Construction Group) who will work with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and other area stakeholders to build a historic project that will protect the citizens of the Fargo-Moorhead area from flood waters from the Red River. The Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating cranes (hydro cranes, lattice boom crawler cranes, and / or pile driving hammers) to hoist, move and place materials and objects.

Requirements

Responsibilities :

• Operate construction equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
• Operate the equipment in the right direction and angles to prevent accidents and damage of property
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and lubricate, refill and clean equipment as necessary
• Operation of levers and pedals to raise, lower and rotate boom and to raise and lower load lines
• Raise, lower and rotate boom or load by sight or according to signals from helper
• Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy
• Responsible for ensuring that the rigging being used is appropriate for the work being performed and ensures that it is being used correctly
• Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all other necessary paperwork neatly and accurately
• Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting loads
• Operate equipment in various situations, maintaining proper awareness of one's surroundings
• Report needs for large repairs to appropriate parties
• Perform other related duties as required, directed, or as the situation dictates
