Magnolia Foods, LLC is hiring for a Sanitation Document Control / Clerk position! The role involves maintaining accurate maintenance and sanitation records, assisting supervisors with orders, conducting inventories, and handling various documentation tasks. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM , with some flexibility for Saturday shifts depending on department needs.
The Sanitation Document Control position is responsible for managing and maintaining all sanitation-related documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. This role involves organizing and updating cleaning schedules, procedures, and sanitation reports, supporting audit preparation, and ensuring regulatory compliance with standards such as HACCP, FDA, and USDA. Additionally, the position requires tracking inventory for sanitation supplies, recording corrective actions, collaborating with quality assurance teams, and assisting in policy updates. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and familiarity with sanitation protocols are key to ensuring proper documentation and compliance in food safety and sanitation operations.
Job Duties
- Document Management : Organizing, updating, and maintaining sanitation records, including cleaning schedules, procedures, and compliance reports.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensuring documentation aligns with food safety regulations, such as HACCP, FDA, and USDA requirements.
- Audit Preparation : Assisting in internal and external audits by providing accurate and up-to-date sanitation records.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) : Developing and maintaining sanitation SOPs for cleaning processes and protocols.
- Training Support : Assisting in training sanitation staff by providing documentation and guidelines on proper cleaning procedures.
- Record Retention : Establishing timelines for document retention and ensuring proper storage of sanitation records.
- Communication : Keeping relevant departments informed about sanitation updates, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Data Analysis : Reviewing sanitation records to identify trends, areas for improvement, or compliance gaps.
- Inventory Tracking : Ensuring sanitation supplies and chemicals are properly documented and stocked.
- Corrective Action Documentation : Recording and tracking sanitation-related corrective actions to ensure resolution.
- Collaboration with QA Teams : Working closely with quality assurance to align sanitation practices with food safety standards.
- Policy Updates : Assisting in the development and revision of sanitation policies and procedures.
- Incident Reporting : Documenting sanitation-related incidents, such as contamination risks or equipment failures.
- Vendor Coordination : Managing documentation related to third-party sanitation services or audits.
