Collins Aerospace is seeking a Technician, Engineering Services to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA.

What You Will Do :

• Construct, calibrate, adjust, test, maintain and troubleshoot electronic equipment, components, devices and systems working from schematics, engineering drawings and / or written / verbal instructions.
• Set up and operate standard or special test equipment. Utilize predetermined methods, sequences and setups to inspect or test electronic equipment or products, recommends necessary modifications and adjustments to engineers.
• Analyze, interpret and record test data for engineering prototype and / or first article electronic / mechanical equipment.
• Prepare reports, charts, graphs and schematics on developmental engineering equipment.
• Document all electronic testing procedures and results.
• Assist engineers with the development of new engineering processes and / or products to ensure their manufacturability.
• May utilize various programming languages for product development or equipment control.
• Interface with engineering related departments regarding program implementation which requires significant interpretation and discussion.
• May provide technical support / instruction to less experienced electronics technicians.
• Perform electronics technician tasks under general supervision, following standard procedures where judgment or choice is allowed within limits; instruction is provided for new procedures or special assignments.
• Operate in accordance with Corporate, Operations, and Division policies, procedures and practices and in compliance with accepted business ethics.

The salary range for this role is $40,000 - $70,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
