Job Summary :

As a Graduate Registered Nurse Anesthetist, you will work under the supervision of a physician Anesthesiologist to deliver essential anesthesia services for surgeries and procedures across diverse patient age groups—ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Your role will encompass airway management, fluid balance maintenance, emergency response, and monitoring of patients, ensuring their safety and comfort before, during, and after anesthesia.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Administer anesthesia safely to patients across all age groups.
• Follow Kaiser Permanente's Policies, Procedures, and Compliance laws diligently.
• Perform pre-operative evaluations by interviewing and examining patients.
• Collaborate with the Anesthesiologist to select appropriate anesthetics based on evaluations.
• Assess patient responses and maintain continuous communication with the surgical team regarding patient concerns.
• Ensure anesthesia equipment is checked daily for operational safety.
• Prepare and administer anesthetic drugs in compliance with defined clinical privileges.
• Monitor patients throughout the surgical process and respond promptly to any changes.
• Evaluate patients post-operatively, making necessary interventions to maintain stability.
• Maintain accurate records of controlled substances as per departmental guidelines.
• Foster cooperative relations when interacting with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Participate in a collaborative anesthesia team environment.
• Other duties may be performed as required within the scope of licensure.
