Vice President – Commercial Lending (Healthcare Focus)

Location : Dallas, TX – Medical District Branch (In-Office)

Reports To : Chief Lending Officer

Job Type : Full-Time / Exempt

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced commercial lender who understands the financial needs of doctors, healthcare professionals, executives, and business owners. This role focuses on delivering customized lending solutions—from practice acquisitions and equipment financing to real estate and working capital—while building long-term relationships within the healthcare and professional community.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative, strives for excellence, and can consistently generate quality loan production. This position is based in-office at our Medical District branch, serving clients across the Dallas area.

Key Responsibilities

Originate and manage commercial loans (typically $250K–$10MM) with an annual production goal of $10MM.

Work with medical professionals and executives on financing needs including practice acquisitions, equipment loans, working capital, and Executive & Professional (E&P) lending.

Assist select clients with consumer loans.

Structure, underwrite, and close loans that meet client needs and align with sound credit practices.

Build and maintain strong networks within the healthcare, executive, and consumer sectors.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth, timely closings.

Stay informed on healthcare lending trends and SBA programs.

Represent the bank with professionalism, approachability, and a focus on community service.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of lending experience (commercial, medical, executive / professional, and consumer).

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding loan production goals.

Strong knowledge of credit analysis, loan structuring, and SBA programs.

Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Spanish-speaking ability a plus
