Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless networks.
Oversee the organization's telephony systems, including PBX, VoIP, and unified communications.
Works with IT and internal and external business partners to ensure that security and reliability are part of the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration process of hardware and software.
Analyzes and makes recommendations to improve systems and applications.
Maintain accurate documentation.
Provision, install and test systems in a healthcare environment.
Work with internal and external teams generating regular reports on network, telephony performance, security, and capacity planning.
Works in partnership with IT peers, management, vendors, and business units to provide highly reliable, secure, and cost-effective enterprise IT services.
Manage budgets, track expenses, and make cost-effective recommendations.
Work remotely with extensive travel.
5-7 years of experience working in a complex, high-availability IT operation with 24 / 7 / 365 accountability.
Technical expertise in networking to include network security products (hardware and software) VPN, switches, routers, firewalls, network monitoring, wireless, security, cloud, IoT.
Experience with cabling and installation of equipment.
Knowledge of and experience with a broad range of Enterprise Networks and Systems.
4 year Degree in a technology related field a plus. (or equivalent)
Network or Security certifications (A+, Net+, Sec+, CCNA) or position relevant certifications preferred.
