Locums NP / PA - Pediatric Critical Care (PICU) - Plano, TX

Assignment Length :

Initial 13-week contract preferred

26-week option considered on a case-by-case basis

Schedule :

Minimum 4-6 shifts per 4-week block

Mix of days, evenings, nights, and weekends (12-hour shifts : 7a-7p or 7p-7a)

Weekend, night, and holiday coverage is shared equally among team

In-house night call responsibilities included after orientation

Patient & Clinical Details

Setting : Pediatric ICU

Daily Census :

Daytime : 6-8 patients

Night : Responsible for assigned team patients and any new admissions

Procedures Required :

Arterial Line Placement

Central Venous Line Placement

Chest Tube Placement

Endotracheal Intubation

Lumbar Puncture

PICC Placement

EMR : Epic

Licensure & Certification Requirements

License :

Texas license preferred

Willing to license candidates

Certification :

NPR certification required

Board-Certified NP or PA

Board Eligibility : Will consider BE if certification is actively in progress

Other Notes

All team members share call and shift load evenly
