Purpose of the Position :
Responsible for Process and Project Engineering support, project management, utilities, and equipment optimization. Lead the Process / Project engineering team in the support to manufacturing operation and capital planning generation and execution.
Day to Day Responsibilities :
- Accountable for all processes, policies and procedures related to machine process
- Define and document expectations related to Good Engineering Practice and Project Execution Methodology while tracking project execution for targeted projects and report performance metrics.
- Develop strategic Long-Range Planning (LRP) related to capacity, pipeline technology assessment, facility asset utilization, and capital investments.
- Accountable for the daily supervision of process / project engineers, engineering technicians, as applicable. Mentor engineering staff and serve as a project technical leader.
- Identifies line of business needs and drives continuous improvement adoption with speed and urgency.
- Offers regular updates on project progress and performs analyses of results and data using statistical tools with oversight from other team members.
- Evaluates potential projects with oversight from other team members against selection criteria, reviews project activities for progress and roadblocks, conducts tollgate reviews, and works with stakeholders and others to remove roadblocks to success.
- Communicate progress, status, and issues to all stakeholders.
- Interfaces regularly with business unit managers to define project direction and system change priorities.
