Pool Coordinator Position At Jamie's School Of Fish

At Jamie's School Of Fish, we expect our Pool Coordinators to be highly organized, attentive, and responsible. You must possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and great attention to detail. As the Pool Coordinator, you are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pool area, ensuring safety, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. You will supervise swim lessons, monitor swimmers, assist with class transitions when needed, and enforce pool safety rules.

The Pool Coordinators work closely with the swim instructor to ensure that the lessons run smoothly and that all the students are supervised in a safe, positive, and engaging environment. Additionally, you will manage equipment and serve as the primary point of contact for swim instructors, participants, and parents. Lastly, the Pool Coordinator will play a key role in responding to any emergencies or issues that may arise during the teaching sessions. This position is crucial in providing a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for all students and ensuring the efficient operation of the pool area.

Required Qualifications :

• Strong background in customer service and managing or supervising groups.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and manage pool operations efficiently.
• The ability to supervise and maintain a safe environment for children and adults in the pool area.
• Ability to remain active in a pool environment for extended periods, including standing, walking, and responding to emergencies when needed.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in maintaining safety protocols and cleanliness.
• The ability to handle and resolve conflicts or emergencies calmly and efficiently.
• Easily maintains a positive and welcoming attitude when interacting with swimmers, instructors, and parents.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, depending on class schedules and pool operations.

Compensation : $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
