Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years of related experience. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects using the project management lifecycle. Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills. Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment. Previous background and familiarity with agriculture industry. Knowledge of soil science and agronomy. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Bachelor's degree or higher in agronomy, soil science, soil conservation, agricultural systems management, or similar discipline. Directly relatable experience in effective communication with a range of agricultural stakeholders. Project Management Professional (PMP). Ability to foster effective partnerships with farmers, landowners, Extension educators, researchers, USDA and state agency personnel, commodity organizations, and industry partners. Requires working evening and weekend hours. Requires travel to various counties within Texas.
