Description
Essential Job Functions
Ensures program compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the project.
Has full authority to act on all contractual matters in the absence of the project manager.
Oversee the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.
Approves procurement of equipment, parts, and supplies as needed.
Monitor all project tasks and subcontractor compliance with contractual requirements to meet project schedule or timelines.
Assist with the proposal's efforts, Requests for Adjustments, and Change Order Requests as needed.
Monitor and provide effective performance feedback to team members through recognition, coaching, and disciplinary action with the assistance of the group HR Business Partner.
Provide proper flow of communication from upper management to team members and vice versa.
Conduct staff meetings and formal briefings when required.
Ensures that quality standards are applied to all levels of the work and measured for effectiveness.
Monitors the performance of subordinate personnel and the submissions of required reports and Contract Data Requirements list (CDRLs)
Serves as the alternate principal liaison between Aleut and the Government Customers on the contract.
Provides guidance, direction, and supervision over training, security, safety, and environmental policies procedures, and practices.
Complies with and ensures the program complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Assist in problem solving and provide subject matter advice for matters dealing with coordination scheduling, and program development.
Implements a customer comment and complaint program and processing system that allows identification and correction of customer complaints validated by the COR. Provide feedback to the Government and Customers on corrective action(s) taken.
Executes the Safety Plan for the contract that reflects compliance with all safety requirements, procedures and policies relating to work under this contract
Supports the internal audit and compliance program.
Perform other duties as assigned
Education / Training
Bachelor's degree is required.
Experience
5 years plus experience working in base operations, logistics management, and / or maintenance support
5-years of program management experience in programs of similar size and complexity.
Large program management of firm fixed price (FFP) base operations and / or maintenance support contracts are required.
Familiarity with military protocols and the unique operational requirements of a military base is an advantage.
5 years' experience in Managing the Skilled Craftsman Trades of Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Buildings & Structures Maintenance & Repair, Fire Prevention & Suppression Systems, Purchasing, Warehousing, Subcontracting, Grounds Maintenance & Equipment & Equipment / Vehicle Repair & Maintenance.
Experience in Managing a Robust Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Work Force.
Skills / Abilities
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams and foster collaborative relationships.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the capacity to liaise with government officials, contractors, and other stakeholders effectively.
Proficient in using project management software tools.
Possess superior interpersonal skills.
Work Environment
Working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and potentially austere environments.
This is an onsite position that requires work to be performed at an Aleut Location.
Must be able to report onsite during non-working hours within 1 hour notification.
Must be available 24 / 7 and 365 days a year.
Special Requirements
Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must complete all mandated training requirements per government and management directives.
Must be able to obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC) per contract.
Must be proficient in the English Language.
