Position Summary :
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting all material logistics at the ultrasound operations facility. Primary responsibilities include cost-effective acquisition of material transport, supply, delivery, storage, and disposal of goods and services to the Service and Parts Sales Division. Ensures internal and external regulatory and Quality System compliance as relates to material handling. Processes all shipping / receiving transactions, and supports all aspects of inventory movement and control.
Essential Duties :
- Perform all shipping / receiving activities of inbound and outbound materials.
- Ensure compliance with inventory cycle count program and perform, (With assistance), all inventory cycle and annual counts.
- Make sure all shipping supplies are at adequate levels and submit re-orders as needed.
- Transact all material transfers within ERP system as required.
- Responsible for contacting, receiving quotes and issuing PO's for all LTL and other trucking logistics for systems and other.
- Handle all shipping defect issues as part of the MXR Quality System.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and MXR Quality Systems requirements and the accurate documentation and reporting of work orders.
- Physically move materials to proper locations within the warehouse and production floor and office areas.
